We live in the age of Artificial Intelligence and today it became possible to use Generative AI to produce music as well. Very good quality music and it will get even better as the technology evolves. Do we use that technology to produce some tracks? Sure we do. However even with AI, we still have to write own lyrics, use our imagination to instruct AI what exactly we want track to sound like, and mix and master as well. Nevertheless to keep things fair we still decided to create this separate album called MegadanceAI, where we list the AI generated music. And we don’t publish AI generated tracks to the paid music distribution channels. Last two decades were the decades of plugins for electronic music, where many if not most producers moved away from hardware and produced hits only on their computer. Today we reached the next step, using generative AI to help us make more music faster. We still love writing own music and we will write what AI can’t generate good just yet. Generative AI is great for mainstream stuff. But it is not there for experimental/new/underground genres such as Rock’n Rave as the good example. In any way, the Generative AI is not the end, it is a new beginning, new chapter in the music industry. Imagine now every DJ will play their unique sets in clubs. You will now get to hear them, not the tracks written by other producers, but the actual DJ in his or her music. Isn’t that awesome?!!!
